I’m a born and raised Arizonian who first discovered yoga during the lockdown in 2020, at a time when I felt pent-up, fitness-frustrated, and in need of a new hobby in my life. Having grown up as a dancer, I have always enjoyed stretching and moving my body to feel more present with myself. However, the roughness and physical strain dancers place on their bodies never sat right with me. When I discovered yoga, I found it to be the perfect balance between a free-flowing physical state and the strength-building, safety-conscious body awareness I was searching for. I quickly jumped into a consistent weekly practice, followed by my completion of Cheryl Oliver’s 200hr training at Authentic Yoga and certification through Yoga Alliance in 2022. To this day, my personal yoga practice consists of a weekly vinyasa, ashtanga and yin yoga practice. My goal as a yoga teacher is to share the gift of linking breath to movement while tapping into deep physical awareness with anyone who chooses to meet me on their mat. I believe that everyone should be able to feel and understand their unique bodies and the power behind the life force that is our breath. I love constructing creative flows and facilitating variations that feel good and challenging to every yogi. Come flow with me and experience the joy of dynamic movement and expression!
