I initially found yoga at a time in my life when I needed a lot of physical healing. While it did help ease the pain in my body, it also opened up many more opportunities for growth that I hadn’t expected.
Yoga has become the place I go to when I need connection. It is my pathway to being present with my emotions. It can be anything I need it to be. Powerful, gentle, focused, relaxed, challenging, playful, meditative, creative. It provides a way for me to be expressive and uplifted and when I teach, I want to share that experience. I want people to know that they don’t need to be flexible or “good” at yoga to receive it’s benefits. The postures, the sequences, the workout, are all secondary to the growth that occurs on a higher level.
I am a wife of 19 years, a mother of 4, a homeschooler, a co-owner of CrossFit Queen Creek, and a nutrition specialist. My passions are studying metabolic health, regenerative farming, psychology, and meditation. I am curious and enjoy the process of being a beginner.
